Juvenile Championship is marked by the award of a handsome shield.

The winner is also given a small shield, the Ernest Payne plaque, as a permanent souvenir of their achievement.

Ernie Payne joined the club in 1903 and was Olympic Champion in 1908. After his death in 1961 his widow donated a sum of money to pay for the plaque.
